Pingintau.id – Curah hujan belakangan ini yang mengguyur sebagian wilayah Kabupaten Muba berpotensi akan memunculkan penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD).
Oleh sebab itu, Pemerintah Kabupaten Muba melalui Dinas Kesehatan (Dinkes) Muba mengimbau masyarakat Kabupaten Muba untuk lebih peduli dalam menerapkan budaya hidup bersih dan sehat, agar terhindar dari berbagai penyakit musim penghujan.
“Memasuki musim penghujan, sangat identik dengan jenis penyakit batuk, pilek dan diare. Namun, saat ini yang harus diwaspadai dan diperhatikan secara serius, yakni penyakit DBD. Karena secara Kejadian Luar Biasa (KLB) nya lebih berpotensi tinggi,” ungkap Kepala Dinkes Muba, dr Azmi Dariusmansyah MARS, Jumat (1/10/2021).
Ia pun menjelaskan, pencegahan DBD dapat dilakukan dengan gerakan 3M Plus. Diantaranya, menguras dan menyikat penampungan air, menutup tempat penampungan air dan memanfaatkan atau mendaur ulang barang bekas.
“Sedangkan Plus-nya yaitu mencegah gigitan dan perkembangbiakan nyamuk. Mulai dari memelihara ikan pemakan jentik nyamuk, meletakkan pakaian bekas pakai ke dalam wadah tertutup, menggunakan obat nyamuk, memasang kawat kasa pada jendela atau ventilasi serta gotong-royong membersihkan lingkungan, periksa tempat penampungan-penampungan air, membersihkan lavarsida pada penampungan air yang sudah dikuras, memperbaiki saluran dan talang air yang tidak lancar dan menanam tanaman pengusir nyamuk, ” papar Azmi.
Kata dr Azmi, Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Muba telah mengimbau seluruh Puskesmas dan Rumah Sakit di Kabupaten Muba untuk tidak lengah dengan penyakit DBD selain penanganan COVID-19. Begitu juga dengan ketersediaan obat-obatan dalam penangan sejumlah penyakit di musim penghujan juga sudah dipastikan ketersediaannya.
“Puskesmas sebagai pelayanan kesehatan masyarakat yang terdepan untuk tetap menjalankan program-program kesehatan lainnya. Salah satunya, Juru Pemantau Jentik (Jumantik) bersama kader-kader wilayah, untuk mengingatkan dan melakukan pemeriksaan langsung kelayakan penampungan-penampungan air masyarakat,” katanya.
Lebih lanjut Azmi menjelaskan gejala DBD yaitu, demam tinggi mendadak sakit kepala,ruam, nyeri otot dan sendi, mual dan muntah serta kelelahan, pada kasus yang parah terjadi pendarahan hebat dan syok, yang dapat membahayakan nyawa.
“Hindari gigitan nyamuk, biasa menggigit di pagi dan sore hari, gunakan obat oles anti nyamuk, memakai baju lengan panjang dan celana panjang serta tidak menggantung pakaian habis pakai,” ulasnya.
Bupati Dr Dodi Reza Alex Noerdin Lic Econ MBA mengingatkan kepada warga untuk selalu meminimalisir tumpukan sampah di area lingkungan rumah. “Jangan sampai jadi sarang nyamuk yang dapat menularkan penyakit,” ucapnya.
Kepala Daerah Inovatif Indonesia ini mengajak agar warga lebih aktif untuk melakukan kegiatan gotong royong bersih-bersih lingkungan. “Kalau lingkungan bersih kita akan terhindar dari segala macam jenis penyakit,” pungkasnya.[***]
